BREAKING NEWS – ORION P3C soon to arrive
We have advised by the RAAF that on Sunday the 9th December 2018, P3C Orion A9-752 will depart RAAF Base Edinburgh to arrive at Lismore Airport in the early afternoon. On the way it will fly over the local area including an approach to the Evans Head Aerodrome.
It will be handed over to the museum in a ceremony on the 16th December and in the new year, transported to the museum to become one of our major exhibits.

1st BIG EVENT FOR 2019 COMING UP
The GREAT EASTERN FLY-IN, 12-13 January
For 2019, ‘GEFI’ will be on the second weekend, to keep it clear of the New Year. With good weather, 2000+ plus people can be expected to attend. Museum volunteers are already preparing. Setting up will be mainly on the Friday 11th. You may be able to help over the 3 days, even if you have not volunteered before.
